Rally is a sport where a dog and handler team navigate a course of numbered stations with signs that indicate different exercises to perform. A typical course is made up of 10 to 20 stations, depending on experience level. The team navigates the course at a brisk pace while working as a team. Communication between handler and dog is encouraged and perfect heel position is not required, but there should be a sense of teamwork between the dog and handler.
Rally provides a link from the Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) program to obedience or agility competition, both for dogs and handlers. In addition, rally promotes fun and enjoyment for dogs at all levels of competition.
We offer the following rally classes:
- Rally Novice
Rally Novice A lively style of obedience on an obstacle course using signs and stations. Rally is designed to promote a positive relationship between dog and handler. All exercises are done on-leash. Class size limited
- Rally Advanced/Excellent
